Travel Update: Holland

Yo!

I took a train from Paris and arrived in Delft, an hour away from Amsterdam, yesterday afternoon. I'm staying with my friend and former Westfordian neighbor Ravi for a bit and so far, Holland is turning out to be an awesome, awesome place. He lives in a sort of community-living house with 11 people and 2 kitchens. It's organized so that every has chores and tasks, and a different person cooks for his floor every week-day night. The walls are painted all different beautiful, bright colors and basically it's like the happiest place I've ever crashed in the guest bedroom of. oh yeah, they have a guest bedroom that everyone just signs up for, and I have this huge bed and a skylight and the walls are blue. amazing.
I also have a new friend here, her name is Bambi, and she is chesnut colored and very skinny. She would like it if I pet her all day long, and is always happy to see me when we come back from being other places.  I don't want to leave!

Last night we made sushi with some of Ravi's friends (a mix of Dutch, Australian, New Zealand, and American people, loved it) and did arts&crafts and played silly games. Today we went to the M.C. Escher museum (which will be discussed in its own post) and cooked pasta for dinner.Tomorrow I'm spending the day going on a free walking tour of Amsterdam, exploring the city after+hitting up the Van Gogh museum, and then going to see Bright Eyes with Ravi.

Life is good.

p.s. posts to come on les aventures de France, right now I'm still having difficulties deciding what to write about because I went to some many places and did so many cool things/saw so many beautiful things. for now, check out the pictures on facebook.
