I had decided a while ago, maybe after I got back from Christmas break, to start a tradition/prctice of lighting a candle (first paying the 70 cents) when I go into Catholic churches. You're supposed to say a prayer when you light it as well, and I love this. It helps me connect with the churches on a more personal level, since being a New England-raised protestant, these grandiose Catholic Churches can at times be very very daunting and make God seem way to cool for a girl like me.
I will add more to this list as I spend time in more churches all over Europe. It's cool to think about all of the different places I will have prayed in by the end of this semester :)
