sometimes, you need to take a day off after 2 crazy weeks of life beginning all over again.

 

i would recommend a quick trip to provincetown, on cape cod. 

with a few friends, a guitar, and of course, gelato.

 and it doesn't hurt to pick the sunniest, most beautiful day of the week. 

especially after an entire week of torrential downpours (without an umbrella).

and even more so, when you spent the entire week facing about 15 ridiculously huge things going wrong.

It was a day for being glad that everything this week worked out.

and for reading an entire novel.
