Nightingale Aria

This is a video from recording sessions of the Musicians of Old Post Road Ensemble from May. This film was just released this past weekend, and my flute teacher Suzanne Stumpf sent it right to me. This year I am having a bit of fun taking some lessons on Baroque flute (similar to the flute she is playing) in addition to our modern flute lessons. Here is the text to the Nightingale Aria by Bononcini:
 From branch to branch flies
The nightingale, burning with passion.
He sings joyfully, and in his own language
It seems that he says: O sweet love,
Make it so that May never departs.
